This Privacy Policy applies only to Online BPLS and is valid for applicants of the system with regards to the information that they shared and/or collected in Online BPLS. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this system.

By using the Online BPLS, you hereby consent to our Data Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
Information Collected
The information that you are asked to provide are the required information for the new or renewal of businesses application, such as but not limited to the following:
- Name, contact details, address, birthdate, gender, civil status, and name of spouse;
- Corporate name, registry no, and registry date;
- Business name, address, and occupancy type;
- Building name, address, floor area, owner, and rent;
- Number of employees and their names;
- Line of business and capital;
- Copy of government ID, barangay clearance, SEC/CDA registration, business location map, DTI certificate, and tax exemption; and
- Copy of BIR FORM 2551Q Quarterly Percentage Tax Return, and Financial Statement.
Use of Information
The use of collected information may vary, including:
- For legal purposes.
- For implementation of transactions or services requested, allowed, or authorized.
- For profile and business analysis conducted by the city.
Cookies
Cookies are used by the web browser to store information for record-keeping purposes. Cookies in and of themselves only identify the computer; and as such does not personally identify you.
The Online BPLS makes use of cookies to store record session information in which various inquiries on the browser are assigned within the entire session. This enables the system to recognize the computer used as that of a former visitor when you return. The session cookies are deleted once the browser is closed.
The browser settings can be configured at your discretion and allows you to decline acceptance of cookies. However, in such a case you will most probably not be able to make use of some of the functions on the system.
Storage and Security
Conventional security measures are implemented to protect the information provided to the system. Multiple security techniques are applied in storing the data, comprising secured servers, encryption, and firewalls as well as the use of Security Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol over the internet. As such, the system is protected against unauthorized access and disclosure of information. Preventive measures are constantly enforced to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Rights of Data
The data provided on the Online BPLS shall be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Any inaccuracy or error in the data may be altered by contacting the office utilizing the system.
Changes to the Data Privacy Policy
This Data Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time to align with the regulations and laws as applicable.
